NEW: On July 22, 2008 SemGroup L.P. who's Canadian subsidiaries include A.E Sharp, SEMCanada, and CEG Energy Options have filed voluntary petitions for reorganization today under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and for creditor protection under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act in Canada. If your business was a natural gas client of one of these Canadian subsidiaries of SemGroup we believe that deliveries for your natural gas agreements might well have stopped flowing as of July 24th. Depending on the structure of your agreement with the subsidiary you may be incurring penalties with your natural gas distributor. In Ontario this would include Enbridge Gas Distribution and Union Gas Limited.
