The Energyshop CDM Team:

The Energyshop.cdm team has a combined total of 40 years of Conservation and Demand Management experience. The majority of this experience can be derived from their design, delivery and execution of Demand Side Management (DSM) programs in the late 1980's and early 1990's with Ontario Hydro. Each has been involved and understands the dynamics of promoting, measuring and achieving energy saving results.

Ian MacLellan, B.Comm., MBA - Vice President and Partner

Ian has 17 years of senior management and technical experience with Ontario Hydro in the Energy Management Division. This experience encompassed all market segments with particular emphasis on residential where Ian designed and delivered many innovative energy efficiency and conservation programs. A sample of those programs follows:

Fall 2005 - "Lighten Your Electricity Bill" Campaign Designed and executed a program with 32 electric utilities and Canadian Tire. It was a mass market product sale campaign in which customers redeemed over 125,000 coupons, and reduced demand by over 8 MW

Compact Fluorescent Campaign with Loblaws A ground breaking early CDM program, it promoted "Green" light bulbs through Loblaws. This program resulted in the sale of over 100,000 bulbs over a 3 month period in a market that had sold 5,000 bulbs in the previous year. It permanently changed the market in Ontario

Designed and received Board approval for a $60 million home audit program. This program was to audit homes in Ontario, identify retrofit opportunities, and coordinate the implementation of those retrofits.
